Wholesale site - optimized for ease of purchase
NYS Collection sunglasses are sold in more than 10,000 retail locations worldwide. We started with them after their site was up and running for a few years. They had us add various extra features as they evaluated our work. We've earned their trust and have redone their whole site. The site has been made to be responsive, yet still keep the most important elements that their long-time users are used to using.
The top header has our Mini Cart module, and our Item Suggestion on Search ***, which was customized to display different sets of items for different types of customers. Their item list layout is where most of their clients utilize their site and we've customized it greatly. First off they use our exclusive Responsive Cells*, which is important for them as each item shown could have a different amount of information. Our system keeps everything looking great. Another major aspect is they need to show inventory available, not total inventory, just from particular inventory locations. Scripts we wrote handle that. The scripts also gather search for polarized versions of each item shown, and displays that on the bottom of the cell, checking location inventory along the way. (This is why our unique responsive cell design is so important)
Most of their users add to the cart from the item list template. They input the amount, and click the Add All To Cart button. No matter where they are on the page, a mini cart drops down to show their items being added. The item detail page shows multiple images of the same item, specifications and location quantity available. Scroll past the normal add to cart button and our Add-To-Cart Header on Scroll displays, which is very useful on handhelds. For matrix items, only the matrix child items that have a particular location quantity available are allowed to be added to the cart. Others display, but can't be added. This is goes for the item list page AND the shopping cart.
They are using our Item List bundle which allows adding from the item list category, item detail page AND from the newer shopping cart. We wrote a Quick Order page for their customers that like to order using known item IDs. There shopping cart has custom item fields data displayed, and various custom messages as appropriate. The customized payment methods module we wrote is unlike anything you've seen.
